Winter Breaking
We just returned from a holiday in Florida. We were blessed with wonderful weather during the trip, which certainly added to the frivality of the week. We stayed with Poppy, mainly, save for 3 days when we headed to the Westin Diplomat hotel for some extra fun. For the most part, we had low key fun, and we needed that time together. Highlights included lots of pool time, great meals, and fun time spent with Poppy, Tema and Michael’s cousins.
Here are some pictures from our trip. I freely admit I need to spend some time with them doing red eye removal, but for now, enjoy.

Daddy’s Girl
It’s that time of the year again! Daddy came home early and got a haircut in preparation for the event of the season - the Girl Scout Snowflake Ball, aka the Daddy Daughter Dance. Mommy remembered to order a corsage, just in time. Her dress was purchased last month at Justice. We were prepared, for once! Check out the pictures here. They also include shots of Sarah’s best friend Cassie, and her date, Ted.

Christmas at the Gersteins
Merry Christmas! We’ve certainly been having some fun days. On Sunday, we visited Santa at the mall. Jordan was certainly excited to meet the big guy, and Sarah had quite a list to share with him. We then headed to the airport to pick up Grandpa and Namma who are visiting us from Houston TX.
Christmas eve we went to a pagent at our local church (missed you, K!) and then had a lovely Italian dinner.
Christmas morning brought many presents to the house. Jordan got trucks, a Snoopy, and the gift below (he loved it, BTW, and yes, the tag is correct)…
Sarah got a lot of great gifts, among them a Wii. She’s been playing it ever since. She might have to stop playing to go see Hannah Montana tomorrow, but we’re thinking she’ll take the console with her.
We were joined by Grandma, GG, and Doris for dinner. We had filet mignon, asparagus, potato pancakes, and mushrooms. We also had some desserts, but as I like to remind people, I’m no baker. The pumpkin pie was pretty good tho.
Since this seems to be an “mostly Jordan” post, here’s what he thinks of his sister using the Wii:
Merry Christmas from all the Gersteins!

Vegas baby!
I finally got around to downloading pictures from our Vegas weekend. You can find them here. They’re mostly shots of hotels on the strip and the holiday decorations at Bellagio. I did get a couple of good shots at the Star Trek Experience. Here I am with a native:
This one is blury, but you can see how happy I am to be there:
Here I am demonstrating the flip panel that allows you to self portrait yourself with ease:
Ah, to be back with Vacation Michael again!
